Respiratory Therapy

The Respiratory Therapy Department conducts each of the following test through Habersham Medical Center:

  • Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • Arterial Blood Gas Testing (ABG)
  • Chest Physiotherapy
    •  Using a vest and Metaneb
  • Pulse Oximetry Checks: 
    • Six minute walk test to qualify for home oxygen 
  • Aerosol Medications- 
    • Smoking Cessation Education
  • Ventilatory Support
  • Lung Expansion Therapy
