Tyler Williams, MHA
Tyler was named Chief Executive Officer on July 6th, 2020. Tyler has been with Habersham Medical Center since 2014, where he completed his internship for his graduate degree and had the opportunity to take a position with the organization.
Prior to becoming the CEO, Tyler served as the organization’s Vice President of Strategy, Business Development, and Government Relations. In addition to Strategic Planning and research, Tyler has had the opportunity to lead in the development of many projects at HMC. He served as Project Manager for the GA Rural Hospital Stabilization Grant program, which was used as a model throughout the state. Tyler has had direct oversight for the organization’s Physician Practices, Medical Staff Services, Outsourced Contract Services, Plant and Engineering Services, Food and Environmental Services, and Occupational Health/Wellness.
Tyler received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration focused on Management from Georgia Southwestern University in 2011. He received his Masters of Healthcare Administration from Georgia Southern University’s Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health in 2014.

Angela Harpold, RPh
Chief Operations Officer
Vice President of Operations
Angela received her degree in Pharmacy from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 2000. She has worked in various roles including Retail and Hospital Pharmacy over the last 20 years but her passion lies in the Rural Hospital setting. Angela joined the Habersham Medical Center team in April 2016 as a Staff Pharmacist, later transitioning to Pharmacy Director.
In this role, she started several new initiatives such as HMC’s Antibiotic Stewardship Program, Student Preceptor Program and 340b Pharmacy program. Angela joined the Senior Team at HMC in 2017 with an expanded oversight including Ancillary Services. She spearheaded the Lab Express and I-CARE Retail Pharmacy projects. Angela is now VP of Operations with oversight of Ancillary Services, Operations and Nursing Services, including Home Health and Habersham Home. Currently, she just finished working on a collaborative project for HMC’s new Rehab Facility Building that opened in November 2020. She is delighted to be working with Habersham Medical Center and the Leadership Crew as part of the “New Way Forward.”

Kesha T. Clinkscale, MPA
Vice President of Culture and Wellness
Executive of HMC Foundation, Inc.
In this role, Kesha is responsible for providing strategic oversight for a broad range of business units including Human Resources, Marketing, Compliance, Wellness, Occupational Health and Physician Practices. She also serves as the Executive for the hospital’s charitable foundation.
A Native New Orleanian, Kesha is a graduate of Tulane University where she studied Exercise Science/Sports Medicine, Africa, and African Diaspora Studies. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, Kesha leveraged her academic expertise in Sports Medicine and passion for African Studies to write an award-winning proposal giving her a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to South Africa and conduct research on women athletes. While in South Africa, she also worked with the Border Institute of Primary Healthcare, a non-governmental organization that promotes HIV/AIDS awareness throughout the Eastern Cape.
Upon her return to the United States, Kesha has served intently in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors.
While gaining valuable work experience, she earned a master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in nonprofit management from Troy University. With over 15 years of experience, Kesha has held various leadership positions with national philanthropic and nonprofit organizations including the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the Turner Foundation.
Kesha and her husband, Randy, love and adore their two children, Connor and Bradleigh. She enjoys practicing bikram yoga, running and organizing unique cultural immersion experiences through international travel for her family and friends.

Valeria Lewis, RN
Director of Nursing
Valeria joined the HMC team in August of 2019 as Manager of Acute Care Services. In June of 2020, she accepted the role of Director of Nursing. In her role, Valeria has the privilege of overseeing the Nursing Leadership Team. In addition, she is responsible for oversight of Habersham Home, our 84 bed Long Term Care and Rehabilitation Center, and our Home Health agency serving five counties.
Valeria has held various roles in nursing leadership over the last 20 years including Senior Informaticist, Department Director and Senior Team Director of Quality, Performance Improvement, and Accreditation. Although she has worked in institutions of all shapes and sizes, she finds working in small, community hospitals most rewarding. She enjoys the family atmosphere and commitment of the team to the community they serve. Valeria is currently working to obtain a Masters in Nursing Leadership from Western Governors University.
Valeria is from a very small island off the coast of North Carolina. Being from such a rural area, she understands the importance of receiving quality care, close to home.

Michael Armstrong
Director of Operational Support
Michael started with Habersham Medical Center in 2012 as the Manager of Facilities/Security. Several years later he took on the additional responsibilities of the EVS department, the role of the hospital Emergency Management Coordinator, and in 2020 became the Director of Operational Support.
With over 40 years of experience in business operations and development, both in corporate environment and as an entrepreneurial business owner, he brings the same “Whatever it takes” attitude to the position of Director of Operational Support.
A native of Tampa, Florida, Michael settled in Habersham County over 30 years ago. As previous President of the Cornelia Downtown Development Authority and a two term member of the Habersham County Chamber Board of Directors, he understands the importance of a viable Habersham Medical Center for the county and the people that it serves.

Susan McCrary
Director of Finance
Susan McCrary joined Habersham Medical Center as the Controller in 2019. She was promoted to Director of Finance in 2020 where she is now responsible for the day-to-day operations of all finance-related departments including Accounting, Registration, Billing and Medical Records.
With over 30 years of professional experience in business, audit and accounting, Susan brings a wealth of knowledge to Habersham Medical. She is a subject matter expert in healthcare finance and is skillful in providing strategic direction over revenue cycle functions.
Susan is a graduate of Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Georgia and is currently pursuing an MBA from Louisiana State University.
Born and raised in the farming community of Leesburg, Georgia, Susan has always enjoyed the slower pace of country living and having easy access to the big city. She found the best of both worlds in Dawsonville, Georgia where she regularly spends time in the great outdoors with friends and family.
On occasional weekends, Susan can be found exploring metropolitan cities and visiting small towns across the southeast region. With ease, she connects with the locals and accepts their recommendations for off-the-beaten path eateries.
Surprisingly, one of Susan’s favorite past times is attending high-energy rock concerts.
