Position: Ultrasound Tech

Job Description: Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.  Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.  Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Experience: Minimum of two years clinical training and minimum of two years experience in C.T. Scanning and Radiologic Technology. Understands Meditech and PACS and can function appropriately at this level.

Licensure or other Certifications: AART registered. BLS required. Must have 2 hours of stroke education initially and 1 hour annually.
