Position: Admitting Representative
Department: Physician Practices
Job Description: Performs all secretarial and receptionist duties in a Physician Practice and is a central point of contact for office staff. Coordinates between the doctors, the patients and other departments. Greets and registers patients, gathers demographic and financial information, verifies insurance benefits, and performs upfront collections of co-pays and deductibles. Provides coverage of other registration areas at other practice locations as needed.
Experience: Previous clerical (preferably medical) and medical knowledge of insurance is preferred.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma
