Job Description: The Nursing Home Administrator is a member of the Administrative Team of HMC and carries responsibility for the planning, organizing, implementing, controlling and evaluating functions of long term care services and facilities to establish a smooth, high quality and professionally acceptable operation. Ensures the care and services provided meet the satisfaction of the residents, their families, and physicians. Oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures that comply with federal, state, and local requirements and that fulfill licensure certification requirements. Coordinates or delegates Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Ensures conformance with the Long Term Care annual budget.
Experience: A minimum of two years of long term care experience with two years of long term care management experience preferred.
Licensure or other Certifications: Current license by the Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administration.
Additional Education Information: Bachelor’s Degree required or enrolled in program.
