Position: Activities/Recreation Assistant, CNA

Job Description: Is responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of an activities program designed to meet the social, psychological and therapeutic needs of Habersham Home residents through direct services and/or through referral to the appropriate social agencies.  Identifies each resident’s interests and needs.  Involves the resident in an ongoing program of activities designed to appeal to each resident’s interest and to enhance the resident’s highest practicable level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.

Licensure or Certification Requirements: Current GA CNA certification is required. Georgia Health Care Association (36 hour course) for Activity Directors. Must have 4 hours of stroke education annually. BCLS required.

Experience: 1 year of experience, preferred.
