Habersham Medical Center has named Linde Mitchell, RN, the director of the Family Birth Center.
With more than 14 years of experience working in Labor and Delivery, Mitchell’s previous work experience includes working at Stephens County Hospital and Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center (now St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital) in Lavonia.
She earned two associate degrees from Truett McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Piedmont College in Demorest. She is currently pursuing a Registered Nurse Certification in Maternal/Newborn Care and holds certifications as a Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor, in Basic Life Support, Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Mitchell and her husband Rusty have two children, Abby and Eli. They live on a working farm in Toccoa and in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, and gardening.
