Habersham Medical Center Honors Employees During National Hospital Week
DEMOREST, Ga. – Habersham Medical Center celebrated National Hospital Week, May 10-14th, with several special activities for its more than 600 employees.
During a special awards ceremony, the President’s and Vice Presidents’ Awards of Excellence were presented. Angela Waters, registration supervisor, received the Vice Presidents’ Non-Clinical Award of Excellence. Carol Allen, licensed practical nurse with HCMC Home Care, received the Vice Presidents’ Clinical Award and the President’s Award was presented to Marion Edwards, RN, director of physician practices.
“These awards are presented to managers and supporting staff members who embrace Habersham Medical Center’s spirit of excellence,” says Wanda Hardman, director of human resources. “Nominated by their peers, these award recipients received these honors based on personal and professional excellence as exemplified by respect for people, service to others, commitment to improving the world around them, caliber of work and dedication to improving the quality of healthcare.”
