DEMOREST, Ga. –Thomas L. Johnson, MD, a family medicine physician, has joined Mount Yonah Family Practice and will begin seeing patients on August 15, 2011.

A native of Jonesboro, Georgia, Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency with the University of Virginia Health System, Charlottesville, Virginia. Board-eligible in family medicine, he is a member of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society.

Dr. Johnson and his wife Jaime have a 20-month-old son named Finley.

Mount Yonah Family Practice is located at 17 White Street, Cleveland near Rite Aid. Owned and operated by Habersham Medical Center, Mount Yonah Family Practice provides primary care for adults and children as well as occupational health services.
