DR. TERRY GREENE NAMED
CHIEF OF STAFF
DEMOREST, Ga. – Habersham Medical Center announces the election of Dr. J. Terry Greene as chief of medical staff; succeeding Dr. Michael Schulz who held the position for the past two-year term.
Dr. Greene, an internal medicine physician, has served on the medical staff at Habersham Medical Center for 20 years and is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He also completed his residency at the Medical College of Georgia and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Active in the community, Dr. Greene is the Mayor of Clarkesville and also serves on various boards including Southern Bank & Trust and the Habersham Medical Center Foundation, Inc.
A Mississippi native, Dr. Greene and his wife Anne live in Clarkesville, and they have four children.
Dr. Joshua Garrett, a family practice physician, will fulfill the position of vice chief of staff and family practice physician Dr. S. John Suss has been elected as secretary of the medical staff.
