Habersham Medical Center announces the election of Michael Schulz, MD, as chief of medical staff; succeeding Dr. James G. Hamilton, Jr. who held the position for the past two-year term.
Dr. Schulz, a pediatrician, has been on the medical staff at Habersham Medical Center for 14 years and is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Methodist Hospital of Indiana, Indianapolis, IN.
Dr. Chad Thomas, a general surgeon, will fulfill the position of vice chief of staff and Internal Medicine Physician Dr. Terry Greene has been elected as secretary of the medical staff.
