|  | To ensure Habersham Medical Center remains at the forefront of medical advances and technology, the Habersham Medical Center Foundation, Inc. was established in July 2001.
As a registered 501(c)3 charitable organization, the Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors and is committed to building financial partnerships with individuals, community organizations and businesses.
Since its formation, the Foundation has helped purchase a stereotactic breast biopsy system, a cardiac rehab telemetry unit, a state-of-the-art heliport for the emergency department rooftop, exercise equipment for rehabilitation services and ten innovative inpatient beds.
