The Habersham Medical Center Auxiliary recently installed new officers for 2010-201. They are President Annette Turpen, Vice President Lucille Helton, Treasurer, Mary Jane West and Secretary Kimberly Brown.
The Auxiliary consists of 33 members, who along with the other volunteers at Habersham Medical Center, donate more than 10,000 hours annually serving patients, visitors and employees. Volunteers work in various areas of the medical center including at the information desk, in the Apple Blossom Gift Shop, medical records, rehabilitation services, home health, physician practices as well as other areas. The Auxiliary also hosts various fund-raisers throughout the year and makes an annual donation to the Habersham Medical Center Foundation, Inc. for special equipment purchases.
